In addition to the Big Parties that we enjoy, we have several smaller special activities throughout the year, themed parties, museum trips and other activities suggested and organized by the ANK! members.

Shiner Brewery tour.

So we like to enjoy ourselves, and when someone suggested taking a free tour of a brewery, naturally we went! We also invited our fellow childfree friends from San Antonio and Houston and headed of down to the Spoetzl brewery in Shiner.

Book Club - Funeral Food pot luck!

This spring the Book Club read "Being Dead is No Excuse - The official southern Ladies Guide to hosting the perfect Funeral!". With so many members from different parts of the country (and different countries!), what better way to discuss the book than having a pot luck with everyone bring a dish that would normally be served at a funeral!

Hillcountry Winery Tour!

To follow up on last years wine tasting, we decided to enjoy the early spring by visiting one of the Texas Hill country wineries. A very successful trip with the cars weighed down for the return to Austin by the cases of wine we bought.

Partie au Chocolat!

What's the best way to deal with those post holiday season blues? A party of course! Marvin and Keisha invited ANK! over for an alternative to Valentines-day, "Chocolate Party!"
