Special Activities

About every three months we like to add a special activity.  It may be something seasonal, something simple, or maybe just something different, but always fun!  Our special activities are always well attended.

We have in the past:
 

• Dressed in imaginative costumes for our Halloween Party.
• Laughed over outrageous gifts at our Christmas Party.
• Ridden the Hill Country Flyer.
• Escaped the heat of summer by exploring Natural Bridge Caverns.
• Gathered to watch the Oscars with an Oscar Night Party. 
• Dressed up in tuxedoes and gowns for a Wine and Cheese Party.
• Celebrated Valentine's day with a Chocolate Feast while viewing such movies as "Chocolat." and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

Upcoming Events

• Rent Party for the Web Page.

  Our Web hosting is funded by donations from our members. At our last Rent Party, the members funded 3 years worth of website hosting.
  The funds cover hosting the web-site; including all the pictures from the events, the calendar and the automated announcements that are sent out.
  Details to come, but this is part of what makes Austin CHILDFREE! one of the most soccessful Childfree groups - its owned and run by the members.

Enthusiasts List

Because members of Austin NOKIDDING! do not have to worry about babysitters, we can do things at a moments notice.

If you want to go to the movies this weekend, go see Shakespeare in Zilker Park, or see if anyone else is interested in horseback riding, this is the place to check.

The Austin NOKIDDING! Enthusiasts list is the forum to suggest spontaneous activities or just see what everyone else is up to.

This is a mailing list where people can plan ANK! activities or announce spontaneous events. If you want to organize a spontaneous event, just send an email describing what you'd like to do and people on the Enthusiasts list will get the message.
